Chotovelli & Figli is a third-generation watchmaking family based in Antwerp, dedicated to designing and manufacturing Italian-inspired pilot watches rooted in the precision of aviation and automotive instrumentation.
Our designs draw their character from the gauges, speedometers, and cockpit instruments of Italy’s legendary aircraft and sports cars. Its where clarity, performance, and engineering meet timeless design.
The Chotovelli story began in the late 1920s with Simone Chotovelli, a master watchmaker renowned for his ability to restore and fine-tune mechanical and automatic movements with exceptional precision. His reputation was built not on volume, but on craftsmanship, trust, and uncompromising standards.
In 1967, Simone passed his knowledge to his son, Yitzchak Chotovelli, who carried the family craft forward preserving traditional watchmaking values while continuously refining the technical and aesthetic quality of each piece. Under Yitzchak’s guidance, the Chotovelli name became synonymous with reliability, precision, and integrity.
In 2005, the third generation Ilan and Tami Chotovelli reimagined the family heritage for a new era, launching a distinctive Pilot watch collection that blends classical watchmaking with bold, functional design.

Over the past 20 years, Chotovelli has remained dedicated to this philosophy designing, refining, and producing pilot watches that prioritize legibility, durability. During this time, we have continuously improved our materials, movements, case construction, and finishing, while remaining faithful to the original design language inspired by aviation and motorsport instruments
In parallel, we have established real production and assembly operations in Belgium, allowing us to maintain close control over quality, testing, and finishing. This enables us to ensure that every Chotovelli timepiece meets our standards before it reaches the customer
Most of our current collections are powered by high-quality mecha-quartz movements a deliberate engineering choice that combines the tactile feel and visual rhythm of a mechanical chronograph with the reliability, accuracy, and low-maintenance benefits of quartz. The result is a watch that delivers the look, feel, and sweep of a traditional automatic chronograph, without the complexity, servicing burden, or fragility often associated with purely mechanical movements.
Today, Chotovelli watches are worn and trusted by pilots, engineers, collectors, and enthusiasts around the world valued not as fashion accessories, but as functional instruments built to perform in real conditions. Each piece reflects decades of accumulated knowledge, hands-on experience, and an uncompromising commitment to quality.
Chotovelli & Sons continues to operate with the same values it was founded on nearly a century ago: precision, honesty, craftsmanship, and respect for the art of watchmaking carried forward into every new generation of our watches
